My Story

Hi, I’m Brynn. I’m a registered dietitian, personal chef and lover of all things food. My passion for food began at an early age and continued until I was diagnosed with celiac disease; an autoimmune disorder requiring a strict gluten free diet, the summer before my freshman year at The Ohio State University. Having to think about every morsel of food, what was in it, and where it came from prior to eating took all the joy I had previously experienced out of food. It took years and a degree in nutrition to rediscover my passion for food.

Throughout my nutrition education and career as a dietitian, I have guided hundreds of patients to a healthy relationship with food that makes them feel their best. For many clients the challenges were the same - overwhelmed trying to balance a new diet, lifestyle or healthy eating routine while managing life's other responsibilities. 

 

My goal with Balanced Plate is to go beyond the medical office to provide personal chef and dietitian services on your schedule and in your home; effectively taking the hassle out of healthy eating so you can enjoy your food, feel your best and free up time in your busy life.
